Barcelona and Real Madrid meet in a rare El Clasico Copa del Rey final tonight.

With the Spanish giants currently embroiled in an exciting LaLiga race, Barcelona are hoping to complete the first part of a treble whilst Real Madrid can still seal domestic double after being dumped out of the Champions League by Arsenal at the quarter-final stage.

Los Blancos were first to book their place in the 2024/2025 Copa del Rey final after overturning a two-goal deficit in their semi-final second leg against Real Sociedad to draw 4-4 on the night but progress 5-4 on aggregate.

Barcelona edged past Atletico Madrid by the exact same aggregate score as Ferran Torres netted the decisive goal in the second leg to pile on the misery for Diego Simeone’s side.

So a first domestic El Clasico cup final in over a decade is upon us and ultimately only one side can be successful in getting their hands on the trophy.
